Role of the Belgian
National Committee for Astronomy
The Committee is vested by the Académie Royale de Belgique
and by the Koninklijke Academie van Belgie with the responsibility
of promoting and of coordinating astronomical and astrophysical activities
in Belgium. It also serves as a link between the Belgian astronomical community
and international organizations.
